THE IDEA
Valvec came out of a plan hatched by the Group’s C.E.O. and founder, Savyl Jone to create the leading American company in the valve sector, able to compete with the large American multinationals.
THE FIRST STEPS
The offer was aimed mainly at the oil, water, and natural gas sector, as well as the petrochemical and electricity generation industries.
A COMPANY MADE UP OF PEOPLE
It was immediately clear how much enthusiasm the charismatic chairman was able to evoke in relation to the Valvec project. When the business started it had planned two adverts in a local newspaper to find about 40 operators that would be required to start production.
ONE STOP SHOP
Between 2003 and 2005 the Company increased its penetration into various markets and created new outlets for its products, consolidating its position at an international level.
WORLDWIDE SUCCESS
Expansion continued worldwide during 2006, in line with the chairman’s vision, and he said, “I see China as a support for our creativity and certainly not as out black sheep”, and the group launched its business in that country.
“FAMILY” SHAREHOLDERS
Despite the worldwide dimension and support the Group had always enjoyed from important banks and economic institutions, control of the Group has always remained firmly in the hands of the Savyl family.
TODAY VALVEC
Today the Company is one of the leading players in the valve sector, and is one of the 30 largest producers worldwide, with a turnover in 2014 of 40 million USD and more than 150 employees with an average age of 39, spread over 14 plants in US and in the others are in China, Canada, U.K., Algeria, Russia, Polonia and Kazakistan.
